Health Day

This interactive program offered by the Denver Osteopathic Foundation (DOF) is designed for children in ECE and K to educate them on the importance of establishing and maintaining healthy lifestyles.  It utilizes DOF physicians, staff and medical students.  DOF staff and a medical professional/student comes into the classroom to talk about hygiene, nutrition and exercise.  The children participate in several interactive activities to reinforce the health messages, including:

  • Hand washing
  • Teeth brushing
  • Color, cut and paste a healthy snack

This program takes approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
