Buckle Up For Love/Pedestrian Safety

This interactive program is presented by the Denver Osteopathic Foundation (DOF) and educates children about car seat safety and pedestrian safety using age-appropriate classroom activities.  The children learn about the importance of car/booster seats and sitting in the back seat of the car.  DOF presenters take height and weight measurements for each child and then take their picture in the "Little Red Car" while seated in a booster seat.  The children get to take their picture home.

The pedestrian safety portion of the program teaches children the steps to crossing the street safely (stop, look, listen, cross) through song and sequencing activities.

This program takes 1.5 hours and is designed for ECE, K, 1st and 2nd grade students.

There is no cost to your school for this program.  For more information, or to schedule the program, contact Community Resources, Inc. at (303) 782-0975.  This program may also be scheduled by contacting the Denver Osteopathic Foundation at (303) 996-1140.
