AED logo: AED logo AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training Program

Register here for upcoming AED training classes in January to be held at Del Pueblo.  AED's will be installed after five (5) expected responders at your school/admin. site have been trained. Expected responders are individuals who are routinely in the building. Please advise your principal/administrator of this registration for training. Risk Management is paying for this initial round of training. Look for additional information coming to your school/department.

Safety Books Distributed to DPS Elementary Schools

In August 2011 a set of 8 books on safety were distributed to all DPS elementary and K-8 schools. The books, published by A Child's World, are Being Safe With Fire,  Being Safe at School, Being Safe in your Neighborhood,  Being Safe on Wheels, Being Safe at Home, Being Safe with Technology, Being Safe with Weather and Being Safe Around Water by Susan Kesselring and illustrated by Dan McGeehan. Look for these books in your school library. They are appropriate for use by teachers, parents and students in grades ECE-3.
